Additionally, those who offer home rentals could benefit from a seasonal plan that provides minimal data usage while the residence is vacant. These seasonal internet service options provide customers with a cost effective option while still receiving service that fits their specific needs. Another reason to choose a seasonal internet service plan is to be able to seamlessly toggle between the internet service you need at that point in time without the need for a technician to visit your property each instance.
Getting Started: The Unlimited Plan First
When initially creating your customer account, you must choose the Unlimited Plan to start out. However, if the Seasonal Plans have caught your eye, do not worry, you won’t be billed immediately. After creating your account, simply contact our customer service team to choose which Seasonal Plan you would like to use.
The 12-Month Cycle
Our 12-month customer cycle is designed to provide maximum flexibility. Here are the requirements for our Seasonal Plans
- You have to be on the Unlimited Plan for at least 6 months.
- Depending on your needs, you can either stay on the Unlimited Plan or switch to one of our Seasonal Internet Service Plans.
Should you need to switch plans at any point, our dedicated customer service team is here to assist you. Once your 6 months on a Seasonal Plan have concluded, our team will automatically change your plan over to the Unlimited option and email you with a notification about the change. Billing Transitions
Trailrunner’s efficient billing system ensures that you are not overpaying when you switch between plans. If you move from the Unlimited Plan to a seasonal option, you will receive a credit for the difference you already paid for the remainder of that month. This credit will be automatically applied to your subsequent bills. If you decide to revert to the Unlimited Plan midway, you will only be billed for the difference for the rest of that month.
Choosing The Right Seasonal Plan*
Off-Season Basic Plan: This plan is straightforward and perfect for those who know they’ll only need minimal usage during a certain period. This is the best option for those with camps and vacation home rentals that are utilized for 6 months or less and require minimal data usage.
Off-Season Zero Plan: At first glance, this plan might seem puzzling. Why pay when you are not using the service? With our equipment stationed at your location, there are costs to maintain its availability. Additionally, this provides a more cost effective option. By paying a monthly fee of $19.95 for 6 months (that’s $119.70 in total), it is much more economical than having to pay a $400.00 reinstallation fee should you choose to uninstall and then reinstall the equipment within the same year.
